MALA has also established its Bureaus to facilitate the implementation of MALA programmes and activities. The Bureaus established are as follows:-MALA BUREAUS
- CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS BUREAU The function of Corporate Communications Bureau is to promote corporate relationships between relevant agencies, issuing MALA publications, coordinate and update the content of the MALA website and manage media coverage relevant to MALA.
- SPORTS AND RECREATION BUREAUThe function of Sports and Recreation Bureau is to plan and implement sports and recreational activities for its MALA members.
- SOCIAL WELFARE BUREAU The function of Social Welfare Bureau is focused on matters related to social relationships as well as community welfare work of the local authorities.
- TRANSFORMATION AND INNOVATION BUREAU The function of Transformation and Innovation Bureau is to promote and foster an innovative culture through creative thinking to improve the efficiency of good governance and thereafter, to strengthen the roles and tasks of local authorites in line with the Local Authorities Transformation Plan.
- INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS BUREAU The function of International Relations Bureau is to shape and strengthen the networks and relationships bilaterally and multilaterally between the local authorities in Malaysia and the local authorities and associations of local authorities at the international level.
