In fact many built their careers from the design of a house. Notable ones include Gerrit Reitveldβs Schroder House, Le Corbusierβs Villa Savoye, Frank Llyod Wrightβs Fallingwater, Mies Van Der Roheβs Farnsworth House, Philip Johnsonβs Glass House, Robert Venturiβs house for his mother, Tadao Andoβs Azuma House, Frank Gehryβs house in Santa Monica and more
This competition offers a platform for architects via their design to explore, narrate, record and represent the changes and evolution of the Malaysian house to match current and future aspirations
Architects can research and develop new ideas for what the Malaysian House should be for now and the future
